Job Title:	Academic Instructor/GED

Compensation:	20.67 - 25.00

Description:	Assesses student’s readiness in writing, literature, social studies, math, and science components of the GED. Diagnoses student needs, and provides professional instruction to students enrolled in GED. Assists Trainees in selecting a career choice through providing professional, educational, and vocational guidance.
Requirements:	California Teaching Credential required. Bachelor’s Degree. Three years of related experience and/or training is necessary. Responsible for designated work standards. Experience working with youth ages 16 -24. Above average; public speaking skills, verbal & written skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Computer literacy; specifically Internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Obtain and maintain current CPR and first aid certification as required. Follow and abide by all other guidelines established by the PRH including attending in service training.
